Hello, I was born in Wheeling at Ohio Valley Hospital. No one was sure of my birthdate so they gave me 7/22/1979 records that I do have says mother was a student and father was a married professor

Hi, Have you been reunited? WVA birth records are accessible in Charleston, WV and will give you both adoptive and your placement records. Many babies born in WV during that time period were placed across the border in MD. However, this may give you the name you need in terms of records, original and amended birth certificates.
