I am working on putting a homemade game together to play with my kiddos (9 & 10) who were adopted seperately and are still getting to know us and each other. I thought I would come up with a variety of questions, print them out, fold them up and put them in a "hat". We have family game night where we sit around and take turns pulling out questions that we answer (ex. "What is your favorite color, smell, food, dessert, place, etc..." or "If you could be a superhero, who would it be?", etc.)
I would like anyone and everyone to help with some ideas for some of the questions?????
I think that this is something every family should try, as my kids have a lot of fun getting to know both each other and my husband & I better and we really love getting to know them better. SO...please share your ideas for questions.....

I might have to try this at my house!
Here's a few that I thought of that might be outside the norm (color, food, etc.)
Who is your favorite cartoon character and why?
What is the first birthday/Christmas/etc. gift you remember?
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
What is your favorite "weird" smell (markers, gasoline, paint, etc.)?
What is your favorite article of clothing (i.e. love skirts, shorts, tanks, etc.)?
Where would you want to go on vacation if money weren't an option?
These are all from conversations that I've actually had with my current kiddos - you never know what you'll find in common. For example, my FD and DH are like oil and water in personality, but they found common ground in cartoons and weird smells, lol!:o

What movie made you laugh the hardest?
Has any movie ever made you cry?
Would you rather have people describe you as smart, funny or kind?
We just gotg back from disneyland. The last couple nights there while standing in line I would keep my kids entertained (11, 11 and 7 - two adopted, separate adoptions) entertained by asking questions about the day, in random order.for instance:
to J: What ride did you like the best?
to T: What ride did you like the least?
to E: What ride was the scariest?
to J: What ride was the most boring?
to T: What ride did you like the best?
etc etc... when one stated an opinion another did not agree with sometimes and argument would start to break out, but I would remind them that it is all opinion and we are each entitled to our own opinions as we are all different.
