Adoption.com has around 800 forum topics of discussion? Many of you know we have 10 main forum categories, but did you know if you click on those categories, there are a ton of sub-forum categories more detailed to specific topics?
I know I've visited several forums and had no idea there was a forum for Surveys & Research, or She Chose Adoption or Discuss your child's temperment.
As you visit the site, what other forum categories do you post in? Or just lurk around? I, myself, like to read the The Waiting Room of Patience because it's a fun light-hearted place to get to know everyone and I have received alot of laughs from the sillinese in there.
So what about you????
I think I have tended to stay within a "core" group of forums. Sometimes I will read the other posts, and if the topic moves me, I will post something. Sometimes, when I do that though, people with whom I am not familiar, LEAP on top of a comment. Somtimes, the mind is working faster than the fingers and it is hard to type - In my opinion or based on my circumstances in every response typed.
I usually like to engage in discussion with certain members. You know who they are - I usually find you in the same places.
And, like you, I like the waiting room - it can be light-hearted, but there have been several times (like yesterday for me) when one of us comes to the room with an issue. It is nice to not have to put ALL the background down and just get the issue out there and know we will get support and feedback from those we are coming to know as "friends".
Wow - that was a wordy response! Have a good day!

My favorite part about the Waiting Room thread is letting our hair down. I love the silliness we have going on in there!!
