Hello,
About 2 years ago we had a failed adoption with Florida foster/adopt. They misrepresented the children involved and we were not able to continue with the adoption. Would they consider us for a child that we have already met during that aweful trip? He is legally up for adoption and I would love to have him in our family. Anyone?
Can you call the child's worker, be honest about the previous situation and ask if you could be considered for this child? We had a failed adoption from a county in Ohio and were still able to be considered for other situations after that. After all, the agency did not know of some history on the children that we found out about later and could not accept (in lieu of having other children that would have been affected). We ended up adopting from a private agency but were found very fit to parent, just another child in another situation. Best wishes.
