I also should mention we have no Polish routes and are not Catholic and had three children at home. I think we would have had a very long wait if we had not been adopting a special needs child.

Hi Lorraine,
I messed up the poll too. I forgot to check off that we adopted 3 at once and spent 5 to 6 weeks in Poland.
We couldn't afford to adopt from Poland again and plus we are aging out. (Hubby and I are in our mid 40s).
I have Polish roots and we are Catholic.
This poll and the other polls are a great idea, mind if I steal them for the yahoo group I moderate?
Opps... submitted it before reading all the way through. I only checked off the referral age.
We are adopting 2 children.
We have not travelled yet so I don't know how long we will ultimately be in Poland.
Sure use them for that group too, I would be interested to see the results. I am not sure if we can go back and redo it to get the missed answers. Maybe I will wait a while and do it again.
Just a note. I did not select special needs because Poland did not consider our daughter to be special needs. Their definition of special needs is just different, all medical information was disclosed. Based on the medical info they provided, we considered her to have special needs and she is currently under an IEP.

I hadn't seen this poll before.
We can not adopt again. We're not used to being in debt, and are looking at another 5 years to pay off our 2007 adoption.
However - it was worth every penny of principle and interest, every minute of heart-wrenching wait, and every email full of bunk from our facilitator!
