Excellent idea!
We were placed on our agencies waiting list on June 29, 2007. We were told that the wait was 9 - 12 months, so we could hear something as soon as March, 2008.
I am 50 and my DH is 35
We are praying for a baby girl as young as possible.

Our dossier is being sent to Vietnam any time now.
We are #1 on the list for a baby boy so that is why we are anxious to get that dossier logged in.
Both dh & I are 42, we have 4 children, dd 22(married) ds, 18, dd 11, dd 2 1/2 (Guatemala).

Hi everyone,
First time for me posting on Vietnam site. I was fairly active on Guat site when we adopted our little boy 2 years ago (sep 27, 2005). Well we just (and I mean just last week) held our breath and jumped again! This time we are going to Vietnam for a little gir.
Signed Adoption agency agreement last week, sending off paperwork to CIS for 171H approval sans Home study tomorrow. Working fast and furious on updated home study and hope to have that fully completed in the next 3 - 4 weeks.

Have applied to an adoption agency and have a signed agreement.
I am a 47 year old single mother to three internationally adopted children - 2 from Guatemala (2 yrs old and 4 yrs old) and one from Russia (4 years old)
I am hoping to add one more infant son to my mix.

We are working our way through the agency's application process and waiting on our child abuse registry letters to come to finish off our homestudy update (to switch from Guatemala to Vietnam). Our fingerprints for USCIS expired this weekend so we get refingerprinted next week.
We are both 30. Our daughter is 2 and has been home just over 5 months and we are loving life!
We have requested a boy 9-18 months old, but will accept a younger child if that is the situation that presents itself.
