How are your boys when sick? I have one who wants no one but me and has to be held by me at all times. I have another one who just wants to lay down, but also wants to know I'm near. He's the one who is sick right now. I know this sounds awful of me, but if one of them has to be sick, it is much easier when it's him! (ok, go ahead and smack me now, but just remember, I DO LOVE BOTH BOYS!!!)
I have two toddlers, so it IS hard when one or both of them is sick because they do want to just sit and be held. VERY tough to do aaaalllllllll day. The older kids want to be near, but don't have to be held. They just want preferential treatment all day, though. :D You know, their special cup with Sierra Mist, their special napkins, crackers, etc.
Hope your little guy feels better soon. I don't like having ANY of the kids sick...but it is easier with the kids who are a bit older. (And who can tell you they're going to barf and who can make sure to get it into a bowl, the sink or the toilet. With the really little ones they just spew wherever they happen to be.)

My 6 yr old is the sickie. He is so congested that when he lays down, he chokes. For nap today I propped him up on pillows and wrapped my arms around him to hold him in place. I fell asleep and heard him choking so I pulled him back up on the pillows.
Poor guy, he's on zyrtec, singulair and albuterol. :(

Thanks Barki, and as long as you're adding prayer requests, dh's grandfather was given less than 24 hours to live. He is 95 years old and has had a long, happy, faithful Christian life. These last few years he has had alzeheimer's and hasn't remembered much, inclduing how to live a Christian life. I do beleive God will not hold him accountable for a time in his life when he did not know what he was doing.
I can not imagine waking up every morning and forgetting where I was, who I was, and who all the people around me are!
He did wake up and smile at my MIL and seemed to recognize her. She needed that, so I am glad it happened for her.
Thanks again, my family can definitely use prayers right now!
I must be doing something wrong because when I attempt to reply, I get the whole quote of your post! :( Oh, well. Here goes. Hope it works!
My closest friend's MIL just died a couple of weeks ago after several years struggling through Alzheimer's. The family was very sad, but there was also the release from suffering for their mom, who was a Believer as well. It is so hard to watch those we love suffer greatly! I will add your FIL to my 'list'.
I thought I did that at first too, (hit "quote") so I retried and paid close attention. I hit quick reply, and got quote. Maybe my computer just likes messin' with me.
