Have you ever taken or taught a parenting class in your church? Did you use a curriculum or make up your own?
I have never taken a parenting class. After this weekend with the kids (and I think it has to do with not having the opportunity to go outside to run) pushed my patience more than I liked.
Our church does not offer parenting classes but could be a great suggestion to give our pastor.

We did a class on parenting and discipline for Bible class one time. It was very interesting. He didn't have a whole curriculum, just used several different books and we discussed different types of personalities, etc.
I would love a refresher course! ;)
I've used to following books at different times...

Both have questions to facilitate conversations so when I've led them it's been more of a book club idea.

I have taken one offered by my church. They offer them all the time. The one I took is actually a curriculum that is derived from the 7 habits of highly successful people" book, only the class is called the "7 habits of highly successful families."
It was great and I DO use the priniciples daily!!!! The class is taught at different locations all around the city. My church just happen to be one. It was taught by one of our pastors.
They are doing a new parenting class now at my church as a "Sunday School" class with a curriculum that was created at my church using biblical principles.
