Can anyone tell me about support groups in NJ, particularly single adoptive parents? I am starting the adoption process.

I belong to a support group that meets in Philly. Is that too far from where you are in Jersey?

Philly is not far at...approx 20 min depending on which bridge. Any info you can provide would be appreciated.

The group is the Harambee Parents Group for people who are adopting or have adoptived black/biracial children. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month in the Germantown area of Philly. I'll send you a PM with the e-mail address of the organizer.
