Our social worker originally told us to expect 12-18 months after our paper work was sent to the Philippines. Our paper work went over in October 2000, so our wait was only 8 months. Our son is 17 months old right now. We have a colored picture of him on our refrigerator! We were just told last weekend that we won't be traveling to his orphanage in the southern Philippines. Someone will escort him to Manila to Concordia Children's Services where we will meet him. We can't wait!
