Wow. Finally someone has called and is coming over next week to meet us. She said she has begun typing up our homestudy...does that mean she only needs to come out and see our house and stuff? I hope so.:grouphug:
I thought they already came out to your house and you were just waiting for them to type up the hs.
Usually, once the hs is typed up they will come to your house and go over it in detail and you and your dh will have to sign, if ok.

I don't know. We did fill out some huge questionere while taking our MAPP class. The women told us normally she would come out and ask us the questions, but we had already done that part. Maybe that's why. She said she uses the answers to type of the homestudy. We'll see what happens. Now I need to get my house ready.
In our case, we had a couple of interviews during the homestudy process. I believe this was simply the modus operandi of our agency rep. She would do the interview, then go back and start typing up the HS until she had accumulated enough questions so that she needed further clarification. Then when she submitted it internally to her peers, they had more areas that needed clarification. Ultimately, I think the more contact you have with your representative in the matching process (in this case your agency worker) the better off you may be. She may have to present/represent you eventually.
When you review your home study, make sure they have spelled your name correctly. For a year my license and everything legal came to me in my nickname!! My bad for not knowing any better.
