Well we got our LOI and now i am just waiting for the agency to get us our number so we can send our application in to get our visa's. What's the time frame from the time you overnight your visa application, how long does it take to get it back?

In 2006 it took us just a couple days. We included a prepaid Fed-Ex envelope for them to send it back to us along with our nice letter asking them to "please process our request as quickly as possible".

We sent our visa application to the Kaz Embassy in February but the USPS failed to deliver it overnight (and refused to make a second attempt the next day). Thankfully, I had recently met a local postal inspector and she made some calls to DC and had it delivered within 30 minutes of my frantic phone call!! The Embassy received the visa application at 2PM and it was returned for overnight return delivery by 4PM the same day. I found out that they did not receive it by calling the Kaz Embassy directly (Consular Section) at (202) 232-5488 ext 126, 127 or 109.
