I'm in shock.

Hahahahaha! It's fantastic! I love it!
I've done my own obit and I wonder if she did hers? While mine is not near as witty - it certainly makes similar jabs :p

I thought Ida was in love with Albert!
he must have done something to tick her off, seeing that he and his MOTHER ended up in a much warmer climate.
ROFL!
that was funny. If I outlive my ex husband I just might describe him that way ----Just Kidding-------hmmmmm
This was certainly the most personal and lengthy obituary Ive seen. I dont know if that is typical of that newspaper, or the Memphis area. Here In New Jersey you never see an obituary that lengthy or personal. I dont think the newspapers even have that kind of space for such long winded obituaries.

In our area you pay by the word... if you have the money you can say as much as you want. I must admit, it gave me a good laugh!
THAT was great. I like her attitude - she seemed to embrace life and I imagine that her humor made her death a much different experience...a celebration, perhaps. We should all write our own obits!!
I hope that mine says something like..."Nicole leaves behind her husband, Dr. Rich E. Rich, the famous doctor who cured [insert disease here] and her three beautiful children, all at Swiss boarding schools preparing for a prolific career in International Business."

True, that is the one mystery left in such an open and candid obituary. Very interesting.
