First, Ethan STILL has a terrible cold so I'm fairly sure its seasonal allergies. We see the pdoc on May 6 so I'll ask him but I wonder if anyone else has a kiddo with this problem and what I can do!
Second, We have sooo many bees on our property this time of year and actually all summer....does anyone else have this problem? What can we do? Should we just play out there and be careful or avoid the area altogether? Yet another reason to resent our high property taxes!!!!! Can't even PLAY on it!
Finally, I am ready to start E on more food and would love a recommendation of 1 serving yoghurt?
Thanks!!! Have a great day! :loveyou:

Not sure on your first two... though I will say stick to your guns if you're sure he's got allergies. I tried taking my DD in to see about allergies (I have them myself so I know what to be looking for) and the ped basically told me she was too young to have allergies. I was like "huh?" DD is older so I'm able to give her benadryl, though. You might ask about if its okay to give E some (you'd have to get the dosage amount from the doctor). As for yogurt... I actually got the Yo-baby yogurt. I think they may be labeled "organic", but that wasn't why I got them. Others had suggested it, but I like it for the fact that it is made with whole milk and has very few added ingredients. We get them in packages with six individual servings and have found them in vanilla/banana, blueberry/apple, and peach/pear. I've seen them in other flavors, but those are mixed with cereal and we weren't interested in those.

Hi Stormster! My youngest son has allergies. We had to wait until he was over 2 and our doctor said he could take childrens claritin and it has helped during the spring and fall for him. But I would certainly talk to your sons doctor before giving him anything. Regarding bees....they are so annoying....lol Play outside in the morning or evening. Bees are most aggressive during the afternoon. Again that is just my opinion since my sister has 2 bee hives in her back yard. We just don't go outside in the afternoon. My oldest got bit several times while playing outside during the afternoon and he did nothing to cause them to bite. Hope this helps answer your questions alittle? Have fun with your sweet boy.
Storm: My Joshie loves his YoBaby yogurt. It is his "dessert" after a meat/veggie meal. We really like the Fruit and Cereal ones too, although I recommend spooning it into a bowl because all the good flavors in it are in the very bottom of the container. I always set the yogurt on the table next to his high chair and I've noticed he will eat his main course really fast so he can get the yogurt. I liked it because it is made with whole milk so I know he isn't lactose intolerant or anything...I will probably start whole milk a little sooner than beyond his first bday...shhh, don't tell anyone! Blessings, Michelle

Mond wait Joshie is around E's age right, what is he ten months now? And he's eating his meal fast so he can get to the dessert? That sounds like a very smart and well behaved kid!
E would literally throw the dinner across the room and hurl his body at the yogurt LOL
I'm going to try it today with breakfast.
