Has anyone rented apartments while in Colombia?

If so, can you recommend which ones.

I know I am a looong way of from making hotel resrevations, but I am trying to prepare my finances.

It also gives me something to think about other that the possible 24 months we have left to wait :hissy: !!!

I think we will definitely want more space and privacy that an apartment would offer.

I am going to add a question to my question...

I may be able to use a time share while we are in Colombia. There seem to be 2 that are close to the ICBF. Does anyone know anything about these:

I saw a lot of apartments for rent while I was in Bogota, and I think we are considering that for our second adoption. The only down side is that it might be a little lonely, especially if you end up having to be there for a long time. At least with an adoption B&B you can hang out with all the other families. But, the space is definitely cramped, which is why we are considering an apartment. There is a really nice, upscale area called "Zona Rosa" that had a lot of nice apartments, and there is also a place called "La Fontanna" that is close to Unicentro mall and is really nice. They actually have an "adoption" rate, or at least a discount if you book for 30 days or more. Also, most places will give you a 5-10 percent discount if you pay in cash.
