We have been matched with a sib group of 5 from TX and have made it through the official selection, have pictures, sent our pics to them, and have been told the case files are coming soon. The TX CW assures us that the process can be completed in a couple of months, but I am thinking that may be a little hopeful on her part. Anyone here have any exp with ICPC and TX? WE have been hoping for sometime over Christmas break but will likely go into the new year. We are so excited we can hardly wait. Adding these 5 will take our blended family to 18 children, with 9 at home. Anyone believing in the power of positive thought/prayer feel free to send some our way.

I am in the process of trying to adopt siblings, and so far, it seems like everything takes a very long time. No advice, but I think your family sounds wonderful and praying for it to all go smoothly in God's perfect timing.
dreamspinner - that is so exciting. Any thing new going on? I feel so lucky with our situation. We are adopting a sib set of 4, but it all happened very quickly. We found out we were one of 2 families being considered and 2 weeks later went to disclosure, the next day found out we were selected and 2 days later started a 5 day transition. I am sorry it takes months. That would be so hard for me. We had one bio child before these 4, so I only have 5 at home, and I thought that was a lot.
Sending lots of great thoughts your way.
You are so brave. I would love to do something like that but everyone already thinks I'm crazy with 7 (only 5 at home). My husband has again said he is done, he was done at 2, hope he changes his mind again. Love and Prayers to you and your family. Please update us on how things are going.
I'd love to hear an update as well! :) We're working with TX on our AD's sister but I havent' gotten a timeframe yet.
