Hello and Happy Holidays My husband and I just decided to go ahead with our plan to adopt internationally and chose Nepal as our Country. Anyone else out there pursuing an adoption from this country at this time?I wanted to see if there are others out there so we can share our experiences and maybe even have advice for others. Thanks:banana:

Hi Valugirl!
Try going to JCICS2 and clicking on "country information" and then "Nepal".
The latest info on adoption from Nepal is there, along with a list of approved agencies. Looks like they are only allowing 10 children to be adopted through each agency per year. So something to ask your agency would be how many people have submitted applications for Nepal so far.
The program just opened in January, so you may still be in good running. My agency has a Nepal program, they are at International Adoption: Illien Adoptions International, Inc.. You'll need to contact them personally.
Good luck.
