I've got my baby, I've got her passport, and her visa, now we're just waiting for our airline ticket to be changed then we're home. It's been a 6 year journey to bring Layla home but everything in God's miraculous time!
Blessings! I've been following your other threads. At the risk of sounding stalkerish (a word, right?) I have read about all of your adoptions and foster placements as you have posted them. God is good, and He is bringing so much good to you and your family. I know others have found strength through the strength that you have written, as I have. Congrats on Layla! Welcome to the States, Layla!

Ohhh Yash! I'm with Mdesi. You're an encourage-er, that's for certain and it's apparent that God has had his timing and is continuing to work in your life and bringing little Layla to you and this country!!!! ((((HUGS))))
Sincerely,
Linny

Thanks mdesi. And you don't sound stalkerish at all. I follow people's journeys to from forum to forum. God placed adoption on my heart when I was a teen. I thought I was going to adopt Anya from China and Regan from Guatemala and I would never adopt from the US and most definitely not from the horror that I heard foster care was. And over 15 years later, here we are, 2 kids from foster care and 1 one from Vietnam. How God must laugh at our plans. LOL!
I like to share my story because I've gotten such inspiration from others' stories, from their plights, successes. I've definitely learned through my four go round with the world of adoption that God truly does not call the qualified, but qualifies the called.
And now I will enjoy my threesome after January 13th for at least four or five years, then I might consider bringing Jack home. I think Jory might need a brother.

Linny, I am amazed at what God has brought me through and how He has used this work in progress. But I hear one day I'll come forth as pure gold.
