I DOUBT this will get nutty since the OP seems apologetic and open to discussion, but she did already use the term "fro-baby".....

I'm trying to be less cynical, but....seriously????
A person has to wonder and ask why the term "fro baby" would be seen as unkindly? And add that with her user name..monkey. uhm...hmm...I really wonder if she's for real.

there's no way that's real....surely people aren't that stupid. my money is on it being a fake post.
edit to add: huh...after reading her other posts, maybe she is genuine...but either way she also has an adg over here http://forums.adoption.com/getting-started/351430-initial-stages.html
Ok, if that person is real I have some swamp land in AZ I would like him/her to buy. How idiotic is that statement.
Ummm can I say fro baby. Can you hear the sarcasim dripping from my mouth???
Nothing pops up on the ip etc.
I read her posts and think she's full of it. I'm sorry, but if you are a teacher, have a degree in early child education and a minor in child sociology, you have had classes and training in race, impacts of race, negative terms/names etc.
I don't care if you grow up in the whitest area ever...if you get your degree in the above, I just don't buy it.
I'm going to ask her about it...it just truly makes no sense.
