What summer activities have you found for your disabled kid?
We have found a Lions camp our kids can attend and a camp sponsored by the hospital that treats our kids. The only other ones I found that take kids in wheelchairs are very expensive. Though since it's a small town and everyone knows him, he can do every churches VBS. He does so much better with some structure. Right now he is enjoying Challenger baseball.
What have you found for your child?
Summer can be a challenging time for children with special needs and their parents. Many families face a decrease in school and therapeutic hours. some of the summer activities are Water Park, taking to picnics, gardening, Visit a Museum, making ball soup are some of the activities for kids.
