Hello, I am looking for any information from someone who has been through this process. My husband and I are trying to adopt from the DFCS, we are working with a contracted agency from DFCS, Georgia Mentor. So far our experience has been great. Things are moving swiftly. We did our impact training in May and are not finishing up with our homestudy, we are turning in the last of the paperwork next week. We are looking to adopt a young child hopefully under 5 years old.

Hello there! We are also in Gwinnett and finished all paperwork about a month ago & state approval 2 weeks ago. Got a call today about possible match - sibling group of 3 agest 6, 9 & 10! We weren't expecting to get 3 so young, but I'm optimistically excited about it. Granted, we have the space and experience to manage 3 but it's still sinking in. How is your process going?
