Hi all. I was adopted through the LDS Social Services office in Altamonte Springs, FL. I was born in Orlando on November 29, 1978 and raised around the Jacksonville, FL area. I'll be checking the local office near where I live now, in Texas, to see what I can get as far as non-ID info. I have been told my birth-mother was NOT LDS.

Got my Non-ID information, which confirmed that the birth mother was 20 and Episcopalian, and that the birth father was 25, and that I was born via C-Section.

I've known for a while that I was with a foster family for a little while after I was born. Learned yesterday that that may have been because my birthfather learned about the pending adoption and there were some issues to take care of with him (or possibly his family). This would be contrary to my LDS Non-ID info, which suggested the birth father didn't know about me.
