Has any used either MLJ or adopted from Congo?I don't think we qualify as we already have 3 children, it says limit is 2, as far as existing children in the household. But curious to see if anyone else has feedback on either. Thanks!!

We just accepted a completely surprise referral of a 2 year old little girl from DRC. We were considering another adoption and thinking about international, specifically Africa, and then got an e-mail offering us this referral so we accepted! We're just starting the HS and paper chase and we hope that she will be home over the summer!

I was told by MLJ that we are allowed to adopt from Congo even though we have 3 children already... Can anyone tell me if they know this to be true?! I would hate to be led on and then be told we can only get a child we are not interested in (older, special needs, etc...)
We want to adopt two babies or young siblings.
Thanks!!

I would like information on DRC adoption. Specifically the dossier requirements as of 2011 and any information on the following agencies that provide adoption from Congo:
Children of All Nations
Hands Across the Water
All Blessings International
I'm getting information that the program has it's risks, as some agencies are in "Pilot" programs. Please send a private message. Thank you in advance for the information.

My husband and I are stepping into the waters of international adoption and are feeling strongly pulled toward the DRC.
Searching for an agency is pretty overwhelming!
Could someone please PM me or email (keganshert@gmail.com) any information they have on:
- Children of all Nations (CAN)
- MLJ (pilot program)
- Lifeline (pilot program)
- One World (I've read a lot of confusing mixed reviews on this one!)
- any other agency that has a DRC program
Thank you so much in advance for any and all information you might be able to give me!
