Ky Adoption

I was born 5/13/1976. I have found my birth moms side.(Kathleen "KAT" Asberry) Rockport, KY. She has already passed. I am looking for my birth dad, his name was not on the birth certificate. But a lady at the hospital when I was born has given me some info I have been trying to pursue with no luck. She said my birthmom told the dad to leave and go back to his filling stations in Central City, KY. (The Red Ace). He paid my hospital bill, so he had to have a pretty good job, I would assume. He is approx. 6 ft. tall and reddish tint hair. I have spoke to some of the people that worked there previous to 1976 and go nowhere. The dad had a family and didn't want anyone finding out. If anyone could please help, I would appreciate it.
