In response to this thread a couple of us were searching the older posts. If we do a search for 'readoption' or 'readopt' on the Guat forum, nothing shows up between 5-19-04 and 11-18-09. Why isn't it finding anything in between those two dates? Even if I don't limit it to the Guat forum it doesn't find much more. Is this a search function issue? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you jerkface.
It was hard. I had to take my shoes off and everything - I think John might have even had to take HIS shoes off.
LOL! That's a new one for me. Or is it that you can't call me your usual name b/c you don't want every one to know what a potty mouth you have??
And fess up...you counted the dog's toes over and over and over too.
Well, I'd get auto censored and then Brook would send me one of her mean PM's - then I'd have to be all "Listen Sweetheart" - then you mean people would ban me.
You're not worth the risk :p

Well, the evilest of you all does - Crick can ban me, she has all the same account controls that I do :)
She's got super powers :)

Ok ladies, looks like I was right at first and wrong about the 33 mil.
It's done. It may not be perfect, but it should be loads better now.
Test and tell me what you think.

Then the next time the search funtion gets messed up you would have to reindex the 33 million posts! I'd keep her just in case. ;)
I tried it and it looks great Brandy! Thank you!!!!
Another question on this topic . . . .
In this thread http://forums.adoption.com/psychological-disorders/265359-need-advice-older-radish.html the last post (not including the spam I deleted) is from 2008 but the user shows up as 'Archive.' It seems awfully recent for that. Is this something that happened during the re-indexing?

No, we had a user have an attorney contact us earlier this year and demand that their posts be removed.
We showed the attorney our ToS - and agree to remove the account (which we did) and merge the posts (which we own) into the archive user account.
It's all good :)
And I just happened across it.
I didn't look further to see if it was happening on other threads. It just struck me as odd.
Makes sense now.
Thanks. :)
