Have you called the mutual consent registry? The lady is very nice and is willing to help you. You have access to it because you are an adoptee.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have contacted the registry, however, my adoption was a private adoption so I could not get any information. There were no records matching mine. So far the only way to do it is ask the court to open my records and most are denied. But thanks for the suggestion.

It's still worth it though right? To try? You should never give up on something you really want. Your adopted parents don't know anything? I got really lucky because my amom knew my bmom's first and last name. Did you get your non id?

Both of my parents have passed away. It would be okay if my birth mother did not want to have contact with me. She might have passed by now. But I sure would like to have my medical history. I am now 50 and it sure would be helpful, instead of writing "unknown" on family history. Could not get non identifing information either.
