Hi,
I'm just trying to gather more information, I'm not looking to adopt for quite a few years. I'm single, in my twenties and just focusing on my career. However, I'm planning on moving to Texas:moped: , and I've heard it's MUCH harder to go through an adoption there. Is this just for domestic adoptions? What about International adoption? I have thought of adopting from India, but also considered domestic adoption, I don't know if that makes a difference.
I reside in Minnesota now, but would like to know if Texas will be significantly more challenging than Minnesota.
Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you:)
Our DD was adopted in TX, we live out of state, and it was very very easy and smooth. However, we did not use an agency, it was a private adoption using an attorney so I'm not sure if that made a difference?
Good luck on your journey :)

We're doing a private adoption in Texas right now. I wouldn't say it's a hard state to adopt from at all.
