thanks for these forums

I just wanted to say what a fabulous community service these online forums and their participants are! I would not have been able to survive my post-adoption turmoil so well had these forums not existed. Many thanks to all of you who've helped me here! I remember vividly my own emotional desperation in my early days here and am so glad that there were people who empathized with my pain. A part of me feels really sad for international birthparents, those who are too poor, too illiterate, too stigmatized, too isolated, too busy surviving war and injustice, who are unable to have access to social support, let alone online resources like these.
