If you are a sibling, 1/2 sibling, other family member who is in search mode, please contact me by Tuesday June 22, 2010 We have a bill HB 1463 in the NC Senate which would expand the CI program to allow siblings, 1/2 siblings, other family members of a deceased birth parent use the CI program. It will also lower the age to 18 for adoptees to use the program, and allow agencies to obtain a death certificate of the person searched for if they are found to be deceased. I need to know the following from this site if possible. How many birthmothers are searching for children? How many siblings are searching How many other family members are searching for an adoptee?
