I'm voting troll. When given a response to call, she said there weren't any pay phones near here, blah, blah, blah. She's at work, etc, etc, etc. Troll.

I just responded with some questions and statements. I also mentioned that too many things weren't adding up. We'll see what she says. I did point out that it seemed that if she had 20 minutes to be posting from work that she surely had time to make the call.

Well, if she is legit, hopefully it will give her the kick to do what she needs to do. And if she isn't hopefully it will be enough to make her go away. :)

It's a college student out of Utica NY so the age thing sounds legit. It's the rest of it. And last I remembered, NY was like pay phone heaven.;)

umm.. when was the last time you saw a pay phone??? She was raised by her step-dad and biological father is the nicest thing she can say about him? I agree there's wierd stuff other than the age thing. At 19 has she ever used a pay phone, do you think?

My kids know what a pay phone is - they have 1 at school, and there's still some at the mall and downtown.
Never mind that my youngest thinks it is for changing clothes in too.;)

It's interesting. I'm not sure I can find one around here, including at school. The high school where my husband and I taught removed them several years ago. I had trouble finding a pay phone even before I got my cell phone about 6 years ago... Maybe it depends what part of the country you live in.
