How would I go about...

..... locating a specific church? I just found out that I was adopted thru Catholic Chartites of Springfield VA, not Arlington like I thought... ...also its possible that my 1st mom was a member of the neighboring church, how would i go about finding the names of the churchs in that surrounding areas? and would i be able to get a list of the members from 1986? I'm currently living in Georgia and i don't have the resources to travel there myself... otherwise i def would! Thanks for the input and advice in advance any thing that could point me in the right direction would really help
