Is there a way to get around the 25-year age minimum for single parent adoption?
Here's the story. I went to Zambia this summer... fell in love with a 3-year old little girl... a precious orphan... and if I could adopt her today, I would. I will never buy another cup of coffee for as long as I live if it means I could take her in as my own. But I'm only a 21-year old single woman.
Not saying I necessarily can adopt either way, but if it's even slightly plausible I want to consider the option of pursuing that. Do you guys know if it's a possibility at all?
Thanks for your help, guys.

Looking at the requirements, I think it's going to be pretty much impossible for you. However, there are probably other ways you can help her. Here is more information on adoptions from Zambia.Country Specific Information for zambia.htm
