Adoption....

Adoption I am adopted. I was adopted. *I am an adult who was adopted. I was born to a woman ... the Court terminated her right to be my parent. *The man who is responsible for me being me -- never had rights, because he wasn't told that he fathered a child.* Then-what? My parents were given by the Courts the right to parent me. They adopted me. They became my mom and dad. The took a baby without parents and nurtured, loved, cared for her..... and gave her a family. * Because her first family decided that they did not want to be her parents. *So...they requested that their right to raise this girl be removed.* So...I was adopted. *I am adopted. * My parents took a little girl with a predisposition to be similar to the woman and man who created her...and hoped that their love and influence would make her be like their family. *Because she is adopted and now is part of their family. *She is family because she was adopted.* Is she short like her mother? Love won't stunt growth. Does she has dark hair like her mother? *Love has nothing to do with hair color. Does she love to talk like her dad? *Love may be why she wants to be like him Does she love to eat like her dad? *Love may be why she wants to be like him Does she laugh like her dad? *Maybe.... Does she have green eyes like her dad? *Love has nothing to do with eye color So....I am who I am today...because I was adopted. I was brought into my family so they could love me.*
