[FONT="Georgia"]Hello, I am really new to this process...we are filling out application info...and we are going to be open to both private adoption and foster-to-adopt depending on what doors God opens...I am wondering if anyone here can tell me(you all know how many questions run through the head of someone new to all of this!) are we allowed to take (and post in a private online gallery)photos of an infant if we have not had adoption day, yet? For example, in private adoption, the birthparents have relinquished their rights and we have a gap in there between when baby comes home and when the official adoption day is...is it ok in there? (Just so family who is not right here can see?) and, are there any circumstances when it is ok in Foster-to-adopt? Like, perhaps after parental rights have been relinquished or terminated? Or, do we need to wait until after the official adoption day has come?! I am a photographer by profession and passion, so, I can't help wondering, cause I know the camera will be out!!! =) (already dreaming of the day...)
Thanks for your time!

I believe that in private adoption situations it is fine to post pictures at placement. However, with foster-to-adopt it is not acceptable to post pictures. We were in a foster to adopt situation for 14 months -- which failed (long story). We were told we were not permitted to post pictures even after the parent rights were terminated.
