Just found out that you can adopt independently from Uganda. This could save us a ton of money! Anyone who has done that, please help us get started. How long where you there? I've seen 4-6 weeks is the average. Can that be broken up into 2 trips?:banana:

I know several families who have been mid indy Uganda adoption and have left. Some go to DRC, and some go to Ethiopia. The cost vary wildly depending on peoples "moods" in Uganda, and it's becoming obscenely more expensive than it was even 6 months ago as more people attempt to adopt there. The families that I know who have switched have stated ethical reasons.
