Adopting a stepchild

Hello all ! Im new to the forum and was hoping you guys could help...... My wife and I got married in august of last year. It has been a wonderful ride and i adore my family more than anything on this planet. We have been together for 4 years and she has a 7 year old child. The biological father is no where in the picture at all, has never even seen his child. I live in ohio, and I have really no clue on how to go about adopting my stepson. Any ideas on the steps i need to take? Any help would be great thank you.
