Hi Everyone,
This is my first time on the Columbian board. Four years ago you couldn't get me off of the Guatemalan board !! Our little boy came home from Guatemala on Feb 1, 2008. He has been the light of our lives ever since.
We know it's time to make him a big brother and the country we are strongly looking at is Columbia. We meet all the criteria to adopt from there. DH is hispanic and so is our little boy, so we really wanted to add another hispanic child to our family. He/She would have a huge network of support.
We are hoping to make the commitment and sign with an agency in the next two weeks. I've talked to a lot of agencies and the one I felt most comfortable with was Alliance for Children. They work in conjunction with a law firm called Greenberg & Greenberg.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback anyone has on this agency. Please PM me.
I would also love to hear all of your stores about bringing home your child from Columbia.
When we were adopting from Guatemala that is what got me through the wait. I hope to be on here a lot in the next couple of weeks :clap:
