Hi. Just wondering, for anyone who has had a TPR trial, how long did it take for the judge to give their decision? Mine was yesterday and I won't know until tomorrow when he will give a decision. It's a pretty cut and dry case. No parental involvment in 18 months and no parent even bothered to attend their own trial.

Unfortunately, no. They were suppose to hear something from the judge yesterday, but surprise, surprise, never got a call. Guess that means, I wait.

What? They didn't make a decision right then and there? For our first kid, there was no family involvement at all, we didn't go to TPR trial but someone (I think Law Guardian? Or adoption worker, can't remember...) called us right away and told us.

Nope! Tomorrow will be a week and nothing. I was told yesterday it could take up to two weeks. The judge needs to time to review the mountains of evidence. Make sense huh

Tell me about it! I can't wait for this to be over so I can give everyone a piece of my mind. Funny, my aw is coming today for her monthly visit and I'll just smile and nod. It's not her fault, she's been great, but I am so upset about this. I know deep down what the end result will be, but this is crazy. It should have been done a long, long, time ago. Thanks for your thoughts. I'll update when I get some news.

Well, we finally got a date to get the judges ruling. This Thursday. Two weeks and one day since the trial. Wish me luck!

Update: It's done! He signed yesterday. 44 more days for appeal period to be over and we get to set our adoption date:)
