Update

Our family has adopted from Colombia three times and has experienced both infant and older child/sibling group adoptions as well as adoptions through ICBF and Ayudame. After our last adoption I needed to step away from the forums because life at home was very complicated, difficult and demanding of my time and attention. We certainly struggled in many ways, but continued to love our precious children. Our oldest children (the sibling group) came home to us with many undiagnosed special needs and it has taken the past two years to sort all of it out and find the best way to support each of them. Although it has been so very hard, we are so thankful for their adoptions and for the opportunity we have to be their parents.
