I'm in Florida (Jacksonville) and wondering can I foster to adopt with a live-in boyfriend? He would not be a foster parent or adopting, it would be me by myself. Is that possible?

yes, they have to go through training but as far as adoption goes she would be a single parent. he would have to do training since he would be in the home with the child and interacting with the child just as much as she would.

Yes, but if he is living in the home, he would have to go through all the training and screenings that you would go through. But if he does, then it shouldn't be a problem.

I live in Orlando, and all adults have to go through the training and certification. So if he lives with you.....he will still need to complete the same steps you will.
