I FOUND HIM!! I REALLY FOUND HIM! I can tell you it's WONDERFUL having him in my life. I looked for 30 years, and finally 2 months ago, I found him!! I got to TELL HIM happy birthday this year for the first time ever!! Please, if you are looking for an adoptee born in Iowa (it doesn't matter where they were adopted to), and you are or have access to a willing birth parent (father if he was on the original birth certificate), please write to the the Department of Vital Records and get an Application for Revelation of the County of Adoption Finalization. Within 15 minutes of having this form and knowing the county his adoption was finalized in, I had him found!! I wish I knew about this form 30 years ago!!!
