I started pumping and taking herbs. But with my work schedule it was almost impossible for me to pump every two hours.
Stopped pumping and am still taking herbs.
Got lact-aid... planning on just waiting for ICPC and using lactaid system.
Will that work. I am assuming we will Just breast feed for the closeness, not my milk...
Any opinions
If you're not going to pump until the baby's here, I wouldn't mess with the herbs. I'm not sure how much they do if you're not pumping, and they're a little expensive. I'd at least cut back.
Also, you don't have to pump every two hours if you still want to prepare. It's fine to pump before work, after work, and before going to bed. It's fine to wait too. Just don't stress about it and do whatever you feel most comfortable with.

You can absolutely pump less often, or just wait until the baby gets there and start nursing with the Lact-Aid. It usually takes less than two weeks, and often just a few days, of nursing on demand with the Lact-Aid, to start producing drops and most moms who stick with it will produce a significant amount of milk. Another important thing you can do to prepare is learn as much as you can about breastfeeding, in general. The more you know about it, the better!
Good luck!
