Agency vs. State...I'm in Whatcom County

:popcorn: It doesn't look like this area gets much traffic, but I'll give it a shot anyway. I'm trying to decide whether to go through the state or use a private agency for adopt/foster. I hear not to go through the state, but I've also heard that Whatcom County workers may be better than in some other areas? Anyone out there from Whatcom County??? If I go through a private agency, I've narrowed it down between AAI and WACAP's US Kids program and I would very much like to hear from anyone via PM about their experiences with these agencies for the adopt/foster programs.
