I haven't posted on here in a looooong time, as a matter of fact we've adopted our first 3 placements since my last post!! :cheer:
A little background, we closed our home in July because of, well a couple of reason. My husband got a new job, we were moving, adopted three boys, graduated college, got pregnant-lost the baby, and was laid off from my job all within one months time! Whew it was a whirlwind. Also are oldest son had been moved several times before being adopted by us so we wanted to make sure he knew that he wasnt going anywhere and didnt want kids coming in and out of the house and creating anxiety for him. So we decided to close our home, move, and start our new lives with our new family. However, we made a mistake! I am a SAHM and sit here everyday thinking how I am emotionally wasting away, how are family is not emotionally invested in anything, how we are not helping like we could be, and most importantly how I do not believe we are fulfilling God's will for us.
That brings me to my question: We closed last month and all of our training and everything is up to date, does anyone know how hard it is going to be to be reopened? Will we have to start from scratch again?
Suppose it depends on where you moved and if you let your license expire. If you are in the same county I would think you would just need to update some things since you have only been closed a couple of months. If you let your license expire you'd have to do it all over.
Hope you find your answers and are able to start helping again soon.
