FOllow link below to see who they are talking about and please explain if you know anything. Thanks!Alert: Adverse Action taken by Council on Accreditation towards ______On September 2, 2011, the Council on Accreditation made the decision to temporarily suspend _____ for failing to maintain substantial compliance with the Hague accreditation standards. _______ is a Hague accredited adoption service provider; however, they are authorized to operate in both Hague and non-Hague countries. This agency operates in Bulgaria, Poland, and Ukraine. During this suspension, __________ must cease to provide all adoption services in connection with cases covered under the Hague Convention. If you have an open case with this agency, please contact the adoption service provider directly to find out how this will affect your case. This suspension does not prohibit the adoption service provider from providing adoption services in connection with cases involving non-Hague countries. The suspension will begin on September 2, 2011 and conclude when the accrediting entity has determined that the adoption service provider has completed the corrective action. I completely disagree that we cannot discuss a very relevant news piece related to an agency. This is is a legal action that people should be able to post and discuss. Keeping it off the boards seems completely against what the Hague is about and why these boards exist. In fact, I know many people have been very sucessful and happy with agencies that have complaints. They should be able to tell their story somewhere. The boards is that place. To keep all stories off I think actual breeds mistrust.
I get torn with this guideline because I see why it needs to be in place because anyone could come on here spitting out false bad info on one agency or another to get people to want to work with them, but then in instants like this one - everyone knows who we are speaking about, so why make us fill our inboxes with PM's. Both sides have good points.

The terms of service are the rules to which everyone agreed when they joined this site. The rules are not up for debate. You can review those rules here: Terms of Service

See, this is why I hate giving leeway on our rule regarding this because people either take advantage of it and say exactly what our rules say you can't or we get the debate about the rule itself.
I don't care if anyone likes the rule or not. You AGREED to the rule when you signed up for your account which meant you also agreed to ABIDE by them.
Thread is now closed and there will be no other threads allowed on this topic period.
Also, please do not pm me or the mods regarding this rule of because there will be no reply. We do not make this rule and it's not going to be changed so there is no reason for us to discuss.
