I saw it. There wasn't a whole lot to last nights segment. They spoke with him and the biggest thing was admitting there sometimes is a stigma attached to saying anything negative against the department for fear of ramifications. They then sat down with case workers and discussed how things are improving and about their fears. They will be airing more through the week. Including foster parents they encountered on a ride along.

I assume it is all at 11 o'clock?? I did see the part with the FCM, they looked scared to death to speak in my opinion and he looked the arrogrant @## he is. JMHO Did you go to the IFCAA Conference Jen? He spoke last year you know, and didn't enter the building until right before his "speech" and practically ran from the podium and straight out the door, not a single stop on the way! It was almost funny except it is so sad.
James Payne is the Director of DCS in Indiana. They are mentioning deaths occurring due to abuse and neglect, but I think it is centered on the general state of affaris. The main problem being he is trying to save the state money. He gave back $104 million last year to the states general fund. $3 million just last month. Payne used to be a Juvenile Court Judge who seemed to do the right thing by the kids. Indiana recently fully implemented the Safe Families model, which seems to be all about leaving children in the home or placing with family. Great in theory, but in practice it seems to go to far, leaving kids in the situation that the abuse/neglect occurred in . . .
