I just learned that Monmouth has 2 family court judges, 1 for North Monmouth 1 for South. The one fo south just retired. Instead of replacing him right away, the one for North will be residing over ALL cases. Our case will be seen in March instead of January as it sould have been.
I really wonder if this will slow down all prosesses een more. :(
Monmouth County actually has nine family part judges although I think you're right in that only one judge handles the DYFS/foster children cases. The family court judges are listed on the following website:

I know the courts are slow but I find Monmouth moves cases better (faster) than some northern Jersey counties. It would be great if they could all move them a lot faster.

Only conveying what I heard from our SW. She said there were 2 (that work only DYFS cases) and one retired...
Hope it doesn't backlog too much now!
