ISO adopted half sibling

I am an adoptee born in NY IN 1967; I just found out my bmom was from VA and had a child there in 1955 or 56. I don't know the birthday or sex of the child. My bmom was white, caucasian, brown hair blue eyes. She was very hard of hearing. She was a diabetic. She was an artist and a painter.
