Post-TPR visits & KLG questions

Two questions: -After TPR is granted, during the period where a parent is appealing, do visits continue? DYFS originally told us no visits while appeal is pending, but I've heard other people say otherwise. -Has anyone done KLG, or do you know of anyone whose had a positive outcome after doing KLG? We may be finding out that the older of our foster sons can't be TPR'd due to him not wanting to be adopted, and we are trying to figure out what this is going to look like. Hard to imagine how this could be good for our kid, who is having a hard time accepting that he's not going home to his mom. He needs closure and help healing but instead may be ending up in more legal limbo. Anyone have any positive stories about KLG?
