Costs Associated with Adoption

We paid $250 out of pocket for filing fees and new birth certificates...Many children adopted via the foster system will qualify for non-recurring adoption costs that covers up to $1500 in attorney fees which is why we were only responsible for filing fees.

lol, not sure why but I read the title of this thread as "colts associated with adoption".Very different from costs. We haven't adopted yet, so I can't answer to that.
